Hey, I’m Kaleish — the doula for women of color who are feeling dismissed, unsure and overwhelmed.
I started doing this work because I realized just how many women of color are navigating pregnancy feeling unsupported or overwhelmed.
It breaks my heart how frequently women, especially women of color, have their concerns dismissed by medical providers—often resulting in traumatic and avoidable birth experiences.
Now I help women of color feeling unheard or overwhelmed go from being dismissed to advocating for herself so she has an empowering birth.
